Persuasive Texts (Arguments For and Against)

What is the author's perspective? How did they communicate this? Then we all thought about our own perspective and point of view and shared what we thought...
Take a look...
What's your point of view?

Author Visit
On Thursday 25th of February, we had a visit to our school by author and illustrator Adam Wallace. He shared some of his books with us, helped us understand where he gets his ideas from, and then showed us how to illustrate ourselves by following some of his basic instructions.
You may like to try yourselves by watching the video below. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil...
Have fun!

Happy TWENTYten/Greetings!
Happy New Year to everyone in the Blogosphere!
Welcome to our class's blog entitled "iLearn". Already you may be wondering who on earth we are... perhaps even where on earth we are! So let us tell you briefly...
iLearn consists of a class of approximately 17 keen students from the north-eastern suburb of Watsonia in Melbourne, Australia.
We are a grade three and four class who are keen to not only share our learning with our school community and wider world but offer our thoughts on the things we are experiencing in our society.
We are wanting to communicate with other schools across the planet as well to see what other kids are learning and thinking about... like in the words of Patrick Star - " You mean what we thought they thought, we think and thought they thought. We think?"
More soon...
